Hi! My name is Aaron Volpato-Boucher and I am the owner of Aztec Building Solutions.
I have been working in the construction industry since the start of 2007. After completing my carpentry apprenticeship I spent the next couple of years working for various builders.
But I always aspired to run my own business.
In August of 2011, I started Azteck Carpentry and it has since been steadily growing.
In mid-2014 I acquired my Class C Canberra Builder’s Licence and changed the trading name to Aztec Building and Carpentry. This allowed us to start building new homes, granny flats, home extensions and renovations.
In 2018 the business structure was changed to a company, and we were no longer just building and carpentry – we became Aztec Building Solutions.

Based in Canberra, ACT – we now build Granny Flats (left) and specialise in new home extensions and beautiful renovations like the one above. And, perhaps obviously, we build complete brand new homes.
Moving Forward at a steady pace
The team continues to grow and so does the size and quantity of the projects. Small to medium sized extensions and granny flats is what we currently specialise in, and if required we are more than capable of doing large jobs such as a new home or a dual occupancy.
We all take pride in our building and carpentry work and will always go the extra mile to make the job just that little bit better.
We are hands on with all of our projects, which means you will be getting a personalised experience throughout your job.
I believe the most important thing in this line of work is to keep a good working relationship with the client by being honest and communicating well. Quality control is also paramount, but that comes second nature to us.
